United Airlines is betting on adventure travel this year, adding a number of summer routes to Canada’s national parks and outdoor destinations.
The airline will resume its popular seasonal routes to Canada from major domestic hubs in May. Travelers can look forward to United flights between Chicago O’Hare and Quebec City and Wimpiague. Denver and Winnipeg. Newark and Halifax. and Washington, D.C., and Vancouver are both scheduled to reopen for the 2024 summer season.

United Airlines recognized a surge in traveler interest to Canada in 2022 when it first announced a significant expansion of its partnership with Air Canada. Since then, the codeshare arrangement has grown in popularity, with both airlines offering more than 260 daily flights between the U.S. and Canada last summer.
Heading into the 2024 summer season, United Airlines remains the largest domestic airline serving Canada. According to the airline, a total of 100 new flights to the United States and Canada are planned by summer 2024.
The news comes just days after United Airlines announced new routes between its Washington Dulles hub and Anchorage, Alaska, scheduled to launch in May of this year, adding to its network of adventure travel destinations.
United Airlines plans to fly larger aircraft to increase seating capacity on popular domestic and cross-border routes. Other exciting destinations travelers can look forward to this summer include Bozeman, Mont., Kalispell, Mont., and Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
