Frontier Airlines announced Tuesday the expansion of new routes to 38 different airports in the United States, with destinations including New York, Chicago, Tampa, Dallas and Los Angeles.
To celebrate the launch of the new route, Frontier is running a “mega sale” until January 25th, with one-way tickets starting at just $19. Frontier said the discount is only valid for nonstop travel from Monday to Thursday and Saturday until June 5, 2024.The airline’s full terms and conditions and blackout dates can be found on its website. Frontier announced that in addition to the $19 promotional fare, it will also offer a Frontier Miles bonus where travelers can earn 5x miles through January 30, 2024.
New flight routes include:
Atlanta International Airport to Minneapolis/St. Paul – 4 flights per week starting April 10th
Houston George Bush International Airport to Chicago Midway – 4 flights per week starting April 11th
Nashville International Airport to Dallas/Fort Worth – 4 flights per week starting April 21st
Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport to Los Angeles International Airport – Daily service starting April 10th
Miami International Airport to Raleigh-Durham – Daily flights starting April 10th
Raleigh-Durham to Tampa International Airport – Daily flights starting April 10th
A complete list of new routes launching between April and June can be found on Frontier’s website.While the $19 special fare may be attractive to travelers, the fare does not include seat selection, carry-on or checked baggage, and has limited flexibility for cancellation and rebooking. Frontier Airlines currently operates 722 different routes within the United States using Airbus A320 neo aircraft. Through its recycling program and fleet of modern, fuel-efficient aircraft, the airline has been dubbed “America’s Greenest Airline.”
